We are the Teskas! We were a fostering family for several years and know first-hand the amount of dedication and sacrifice it takes to provide a loving and safe space for children in the system. We did close our home recently, but not our hearts. So we came up with this unique way to serve these children and their families.
WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS
Our name was inspired by the book of Romans in the Bible. It says, "We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us" (Romans 8:37).
TO CONQUER is to be triumphant over something
TO BE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR is to be overwhelmingly victorious!

Biblically speaking, anyone who is a child of God can stand firm against the attacks of the enemy and know that not only do we win in the end, but we can also win now because Jesus stands with us and fights for us!

For a child in the foster care system, we want to convey that no matter what they have gone through in life, they are never alone. Their circumstances don't define them and they can rise up, not only to conquer past trauma and break cycles that have tried to steal their joy and well-being, but they can be MORE THAN CONQUERORS and have overwhelming victory in their lives!
